This fiber painting is of Suri alpaca cria, or baby. The painting was created by needle felting on a 9"x12" canvas using this alpaca's fiber and other alpaca fibers. A small amount of pink alpaca fiber was blended into the black and grey fiber for the background. Once finished, the fiber painting was placed into a frame. A hanger was then attached to the back of the frame.
